Up until this point, I had never considered a Star Wars film without composer John Williams scoring it, but apparently it's a possibility. New director J.J. Abrams almost always uses Michael Giacchino as his composer, and that doesn't bode well for Williams. There's no official word yet though and Williams is interested, so there is still hope. It just wouldn't be the same without hearing that classic Star Wars theme playing over the credits.
