Arrested Development movie in the works?

Followed by another TV/Netflix series? That's the plan apparently, according to Mitch Hurwitz:

"I'm working on the movie right now," the show's creator tells Rolling Stone. "I can't get into much more detail because I don't want to scare anybody off. I don't want to be presumptuous about it. I don't own the property outright – it's a 20th Century Fox property. But everybody seems really into it and really eager to make a movie."
Plans are obviously in flux at the moment, but Hurwitz's ultimate goal is to make an Arrested Development movie and then another season of the show. "The whole thing is sort of unprecedented," he says. "It's always been its own little thing. I kind of feel like the more it stays original, the better chance it has. As soon as it goes back to trying to do exactly what it was before, you run the risk of doing a reunion show or something."

I call it "The Heisenberg"

I decided to make a shot in honor of Breaking Bad, and I knew it had to be blue:

I call it "The Heisenberg" and it's pretty damn good according to what I was told by my friends (and myself). It's pretty simple to make, too.

2 parts Blue CuraƧao
2 parts Peach Schnapps
1 part Vodka
Mix in shaker with ice
Serve in shot glass
Add a drop of "blood" (Grenadine) before serving
Optional: garnish glass with "meth" (sugar crystals)

For a stronger, less sweet shot, use equal parts Curacao, Schnapps, and Vodka.

Ben Affleck is... Batman?

Interesting. I'm not sure how I feel about this yet, but he will play Bruce Wayne/Batman in the new "Superman vs. Batman" movie coming out in 2015. It's a step up from Daredevil, at least.

So, a Canadian dentist wants to clone John Lennon?

From one of his teeth he paid over 30 grand for, apparently. Another John Lennon would be great since he died way too soon, but still this is really, really weird.

Charlie Manuel fired as Phillies manager

Sad day, for me at least, as Phillies manager Charlie Manuel has been fired. He was certainly my favorite manager, and led the team to 5 NL East titles, 2 NL Pennants, and 1 World Series whilst becoming the Phillies winningest manager. Thanks, Charlie.

I feel like the organization should have let him finish out the season, or at the very least sent him off with a home game and a standing ovation. They did let him get his 1,000th win, though.

Ann Perkins and Chris Traeger to leave 'Parks and Rec'

Played by Rashida Jones and Rob Lowe, Ann and Chris will be leaving Parks and Recreation after the 13th episode of the upcoming season 6. Luckily Ron Swanson will remain, but here's the statement from Michael Schur:

“The news about Rob and Rashida is true — they will be leaving the show after the 13th episode of the upcoming season six. We’ve been working on their storyline (on and off) for four seasons now, and heading into this year, with the two of them contemplating parenthood, it felt like a natural time to move them into the next phase.
We absolutely love both Rashida and Rob, and will be sad to see them go. Rashida was one of the very first people we knew we wanted in the cast, and as important as Ann is to Leslie (and vice-versa), she’ll certainly never be far from Pawnee. Rob we initially thought we could only have for six or eight episodes, and we couldn’t be happier that he will have stuck around for 75.
They are wonderful, funny, committed actors, they’ve been a huge part of the Parks and Rec family, and we think we have a great Pawnee send-off in the works for them.”
