I feel like this has been done before and featured here but I'm not sure.

Someone tried to dissolve a body in acid a la 'Breaking Bad'

When will people learn? Breaking Bad is a TV show, not real life. Despite the odds, Walter White has yet to be caught; this is a rare occurrence in real life. Regardless of the warnings, Jason Hart decided to kill someone and dispose of her body by leaving it in a tub filled with acid. You may be saying "Hey!? Can't anyone do that and not be influenced by Breaking Bad?" to which I'd say "Yes, but did you know that they found the exact episode of Breaking Bad with the acid bath on his DVR?" to which you would reply "Oh, shit." So yeah, I'd say that's 'inspiration' or something for sure.

The body was allegedly in a plastic tub, so at least Hart learned from Jesse's mistake.

Jim Carrey won't promote 'Kick-Ass 2'

I like Jim Carrey, but I'm not sure if I fully agree with this. Yesterday, Jim tweeted "I did Kickass a month b4 Sandy Hook and now in all good conscience I cannot support that level of violence. My apologies to e" and "I meant to say my apologies to others involve with the film. I am not ashamed of it but recent events have caused a change in my heart."

I mean, the movie is already done and is already going to be in thousands of theatres this year. I'm sure none of the other actors support the violence in the film, but during promotional appearances I'm sure they'll be supporting the actual movie instead. Not to mention that Kick-Ass 2 is rated R, and I doubt the violence will influence anybody of age that watches it.

Andrew W.K. drums for 24 hours straight

Of course, he had help from other drummers like Questlove and Marky Ramone. Here's a clip with Chad Smith with a little less than 2 hours remaining in the world record marathon:

Monty Python and The Holy Grail poster

I think I posted about a similar poster for The Big Lebowski from the same artist, but I'm not sure and too lazy to check right now. Regardless, I just bought a print of the poster below for my dad's birthday. He loves anything "Python" especially The Holy Grail so I'm excited to get this in his hands!

Sin City 2 delayed, to premiere NEXT summer

Bummer! From Uproxx:

Dimension Films, distributing the movie, pretty much just said, yeah, it’s delayed. Needless to say, some digging has turned up why, precisely. Fortunately it’s not because the movie stinks, or at least nobody involved thinks it stinks: This is the guy who turned out Planet Terror, after all.

I have been told that this delay is for effects work and not at all representative of the quality of the film or the confidence Dimension has in it. Robert Rodriguez is also notorious for how involved he is with the post production process and he has Machete Kills coming in September so I bet he just needs more time to finish the film.

Tom Hanks to star in "A Hologram for the King"

From Vulture:

Tom Hanks is reuniting with his Cloud Atlas co-director Tom Tykwer for a big screen version of Dave Eggers's National Book Award finalist, A Hologram for the King. Tykwer, who also helmed Run Lola Run and Perfume: The Story of a Murdereradapted the novel and will direct. The story details "a struggling businessman who, after failing in America, heads to a rising Saudi Arabian city for a last ditch attempt to stave off foreclosure, pay his daughter’s college tuition, and do something memorable," Deadline writes. Yup, Tom Hanks can do his Tom Hanks thing with that. Definitely.

#Hashtags will finally work on Facebook

Which means finally all you douche bags won't look like douche bags.  Unfortunately, not everyone will have the feature at first, so some of you will still look like douche bags for a little big longer. Keep it up!

Diamondbacks draft paralyzed former college player

After a tragic end to his promising baseball career just 3 games into his college season, Cory Hahn was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 34th round of this years draft. More than just a kind, humbling gesture by the team, they plan to keep Hahn part of the organization and give him a full time job.

With today's 6-1 win over the Miami Marlins the Phillies have finally reached the .500 mark for the first time since game 12, and for just the third time all season. At 30-30, the Phils can actually claim second place in the NL East with a Nationals loss tonight. Let's go!

Remember that awful Atari E.T. game?

They're now excavating the site where Atari apparently dumped millions of copies of the game. Film company Fuel Industries was hired to excavate the New Mexico site and report what they find after six months. That game doesn't deserve to see daylight again, but it will be interesting to see just how many copies were buried.
