This finally gives you a reason to check out a 7-11! It's basically just fried cheese sprinkled with Doritos aka delicious.

There's already Doritos tacos, so why not Taco Bell Doritos?

Apparently I'm not the only one who can't think of a reason against it, as it is going to happen this spring. I'm surprised it took this long, but I'm glad I will soon be able to enjoy Taco Bell when eating Doritos. We already can enjoy Doritos when eating Taco Bell, so why not? Oh, and there will be a Cool Ranch Taco flavor too, to coincide with the release of Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Tacos.

There's not really much else to say other than HELL YEAH! It's about time! There was never any doubt that these would exist someday, and when the original Doritos Locos Tacos became Taco Bell's best selling item you knew we would be able to enjoy a Cool Ranch version soon. After this, maybe they'll make the shell out of taco flavored Doritos? I'd prefer Spicy Sweet Chili myself.

Why was I not the first to hear about these?!?

Finally! Taco Bell is debuting their Doritos Locos Tacos at ALL locations today!  What are you waiting for? Go get one!



By the way, they plan on making a Cooler Ranch shell too.  Amazing.

Doritos Locos Tacos are coming!

I mentioned in a previous post that Taco Bell was test marketing Doritos Locos Tacos -essentially a hard shell taco with Doritos as the shell- and this now seems to be a reality.  The new item is beginning to be served nationwide at Taco Bell locations.  Keep your eyes peeled, this could be the next XXL Chalupa, which was the next Crunchwrap Supreme.

Creator of delicious Doritos dies in Dallas

+1 for alliteration.

Anyway, the creator of Doritos, Arch West*, passed away today.  He died at the age of 97, in Dallas' Presbyterian Hospital.  It is a sad day for the snack world indeed, but in perhaps what will be the most awesome burial service ever his family plans to spread Doritos chips over his casket.

Taco Bell does it again...

Yes you saw correctly, Taco Bell is testing a new product; a taco with the shell made out of Doritos.  Simply amazing.  Can't wait.
