George Lucas basically confirms Ford, Hamill, and Fisher will return for Episode VII

Oops!! Someone let the cat out of the bag!

From Vulture:
“We had already signed Mark and Carrie and Harrison — or we were pretty much in final stages of negotiation." He quickly realized his misstep: “Maybe I’m not supposed to say that. I think they want to announce that with some big whoop-de-do, but we were negotiating with them.” Then, trying to cover up: “I won’t say whether the negotiations were successful or not.”

Harrison Ford joins the cast of 'Anchorman: The Legend Continues'

From ComingSoon:
"Harrison Ford has officially joined the cast of Adam McKay's Anchorman: The Legend Continues. He joins the returning Will Ferrell, Christina Applegate, Steve Carell, David Koechner and Paul Rudd as well as fellow newcomers Kristen Wiig, James Marsden, Dylan Baker and Meagan Good.
A sequel to 2004's Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Anchorman: The Legend Continues is about to begin production in Atlanta, Georgia. It is expected to hit theaters December 20th of this year.
Ford's role is said to be that of an esteemed new anchor, a part somewhat similar to the role he played in 2010's Morning Glory."

Will Mark Hamill be in the new 'Star Wars'?

From Vulture:

Mark "Young Skywalker" Hamill, who knew about the new Star Wars trilogy but didn't even tell us, is preparing to meet with recently hired screenwriter Michael Arndt (Toy Story 3). "They're talking to us," Hamill tells Entertainment Tonight, referencing himself and the other original trilogy mainstays. "George [Lucas] wanted to know whether we'd be interested. He did say that if we didn't want to do it, they wouldn't cast another actor in our parts — they would write us out." Though Hamill says no signatures have hit any documents, it all seems to lend some credit to those reports about Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, and Hamill all returning, huh?
Hamill, who has apparently stayed as much a Star Wars buff as non-celebrity Star Wars buffs, hopes the third trilogy will resemble the first, rather than the prequels. "I said to George that I wanted to go back to the way it was, in the sense that ours was much more carefree and lighthearted and humorous — in my opinion, anyway," he says. "And another thing I'd want to make sure of is are we going to have the whole gang back? Is Carrie and Harrison and Billy Dee and Tony Daniels, everybody that's around from the original [returning]? I want to make sure that everybody's on board here, rather than just one."
Hamill guesses the plot "would be about our offspring — like my character would be sort of in the Obi-Wan range [as] an influential character."

Did Han or Greedo shoot first?

Here's what George Lucas himself had to say on the matter:
"Well, it's not a religious event. I hate to tell people that. It's a movie, just a movie. The controversy over who shot first, Greedo or Han Solo, in Episode IV, what I did was try to clean up the confusion, but obviously it upset people because they wanted Solo [who seemed to be the one who shot first in the original] to be a cold-blooded killer, but he actually isn't. It had been done in all close-ups and it was confusing about who did what to whom. I put a little wider shot in there that made it clear that Greedo is the one who shot first, but everyone wanted to think that Han shot first, because they wanted to think that he actually just gunned him down."

I'm really starting to think Lucas is crazy now.  Did he forget that the way HE directed the scene and the way Harrison Ford played it indicated that Han Solo did indeed shoot first?  Me must've, since in every updated version he changed the scene to include a wider shot of Han unnaturally jerking his head while Greedo shoots at him.  You know, with the gun he had pointed at him the whole time, giving Han every reason to shoot first (and not be a "cold-blooded killer").  Tsk tsk.  Video below, from ComingSoon.
