Yep, another sign of the Apocalypse

Remember the 1988 comedy Twins? No? It wasn't good.  It starred Danny DeVito and Arnold Schwarzenegger as twins. Seriously.  And now there's a sequel planned, called... Triplets.  Starring DeVito, Schwarzenegger, and Eddie Murphy as the triplets.  Yep.

Jim Thome hits #600

In the sixth inning of Minnesota's game against Detroit last night, Jim Thome blasted a 2-run opposite field homerun.  But that was only #599 of the 40 year old's career.  He'd have to wait til his next at-bat in the seventh inning to hit the 600th homerun of his career, becoming the 8th player in MLB history to do so.  He became the second fastest player to accomplish the rare feat, but also the oldest.  Any way you slice it, Thome deserves praise for this milestone.
