I've thoroughly enjoyed the first season of
The Strain on FX so far, so I am glad to see it get picked up for another season.

In an expected move, the cable network Tuesday ordered a 13-episode second season of the vampire drama (Sunday, 10 p.m. ET/PT). The series, which is midway through its first season, has drawn a healthy audience of young adults, ranking as 2014's top new cable series in that category. Season 2 will premiere next summer."
