"Don't Ask, Don't Tell" officially revoked
The military's policy on gay and lesbian soldiers, commonly referred to as "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" has been officially revoked. I personally think it's about time this happened, since there was no reason to discriminate in the first place. This is a great step towards equal rights in the LGBT community, and hopefully more positive strides can be made.
