Under the bridge downtown...

is apparently located at MacArthur Park in LA.  Vulture writer Mark Haskell Smith did some detective work and discovered the actual bridge referenced in the Red Hot Chili Pepepr's breakout hit "Under the Bridge."  It is located in the aforementioned park which is actually neat and tidy; however it was rampant with drug users during the 80s (Anthony Kiedis hit his low point "under the bridge" in 1988).  Kiedis has never revealed the actual location, so it's pretty neat that someone was able to piece together bits of information to discover its location.  Read the full story here.
